Terms & Conditions

Website Terms & Conditions

www.seemysurgeon.com  |  Last updated 24 September 2026

These terms cover your use of the See My Surgeon website. They are deliberately separate from the terms that apply if you later book private healthcare or formally instruct Mr Asaad for medicolegal work.

1. About this website

The website provides information about Mr Peter Asaad, his private general and colorectal surgical practice, and his independent expert witness work. You may also use the website to make an initial enquiry or follow links to external booking services.

2. Medical information

Information on this website is general information only. It is not a diagnosis, a substitute for an individual consultation or personal medical advice.

Do not use the website, email or voicemail for an emergency. In an emergency call 999 or attend an Emergency Department. For urgent non-emergency NHS advice, contact NHS 111 or your usual healthcare service.

3. Enquiries, appointments and treatment

Sending an enquiry does not confirm an appointment and does not by itself create a doctor-patient relationship. Suitability for consultation, investigation or treatment depends on individual assessment and availability.

Where the website links to Nuffield Health or another hospital or provider for booking, their own terms, privacy notice, fees and cancellation arrangements apply. Any separate terms relating to your consultation or treatment will be provided through the relevant practice or hospital.

4. Medicolegal enquiries

An initial medicolegal enquiry is used only to consider matters such as expertise, conflicts of interest, availability and deadlines. It does not amount to acceptance of an instruction.

A medicolegal instruction is accepted only after written confirmation and agreement of the relevant terms and fees. Please do not send a full medical-record bundle or sensitive identification documents through the website contact form unless specifically asked to do so.

5. Website content and links

We take reasonable care to keep the website clear and up to date, but information may change and we cannot guarantee that every page will always be complete or current.

External links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or availability of external websites.

Unless otherwise stated, website text, graphics and other original content may not be copied or used commercially without permission. Reasonable personal use and sharing of links to public pages is permitted.

6. Use and availability of the website

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious software or use the contact facilities for unlawful or abusive communications. We may update, suspend or remove website content when needed.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for negligence where the law does not permit it to be excluded.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these website terms from time to time. The version shown on the website is the current version.

These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply in another UK jurisdiction.
